Jaimie Gunderson has been named one of the 2026 Momentum Funds winners. Gunderson was awarded an Arts and Humanities Microgrant for her research, "The Making of a Field: How Dialogue Between Max Müller and Heinrich Schliemann Shaped Religious Studies."

This is the second consecutive academic year that our department has received Momentum Funds - Dan Heifetz received an Arts and Humanities Microgrant in the Fall of 2024 for his research, "Queer Desi Religion."
