Yasmine Flodin-Ali contributes to Under Gods project

Yasmine Flodin-Ali's essay, "Jazz in a Muslim Key," was recently published by the Under Gods project. The essay tells the story of The Ahmadiyya Muslim movement, with a focus on jazz musician Yusef Lateef.

Under Gods is a semi-quincentennial reflection on the religious history of the United States. The project was published by the Indiana University journal American Religion in collaboration with the Center for the Understanding of Religion in American History at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History, with support from the Henry Luce Foundation.
